A distinguished vintage silver-plated serving piece by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), Germany, crafted in EP brass and bearing the Model 42 designation. This substantial and elegantly weighted example reflects the refined craftsmanship and timeless design for which WMF is internationally recognized.
Manufactured in Germany, this piece exhibits the graceful proportions, durability, and understated sophistication characteristic of mid-20th century European silverplate. Condition

Senior Collection PartnerProfessor Mostafa M. Abo El-Nil is a scientist, collector, and merchant whose career combines academic achievement with a lifelong appreciation for fine European craftsmanship. Holding a Ph.D. in Biology, he conducted scientific research internationally and is the inventor of multiple United States patents in forestry biotechnology and plant embryogenesis.
Alongside his scientific accomplishments, Professor Abo El-Nil has spent more than two decades involved in fine Swiss and French watchmaking, silver, and decorative arts. A number of objects presented by La Maison de l'Orfèvre originate from his private collection, reflecting his commitment to quality, authenticity, and timeless design.
